After two games on the road, Chester is heading back home. They will take on the Woodruff Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chester will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Woodruff is ranked 107th).
Last Thursday, Chester came up short against Fairfield Central and fell 60-49.
Meanwhile, Woodruff scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Union County by a score of 75-67. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Chester's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-7. As for Woodruff, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Chester, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-50 loss to Woodruff when the teams last played on January 5th.
