The Mansfield Legacy Broncos will challenge the Rockwall Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Mansfield Legacy's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Lake Ridge with a sharp 6-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Broncos, who have now won 12 games in a row.

Natalie Moreaux was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hope Gaudio, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Erin Morris, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.
Mansfield Legacy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 13 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Rockwall had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Falcons.
Mansfield Legacy pushed their record up to 22-5 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rockwall, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.
Everything went Mansfield Legacy's way against Rockwall in their previous matchup back in February, as Mansfield Legacy made off with a 12-4 win. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
