Basketball Recap: Mid-Missouri Homeschool Piles Up the Points Against Sunnydale Academy

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool entered their tilt with Sunnydale Academy on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to Sunnydale Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-38 win. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool had a senior duo take command as Kaden Hayes went 12 of 18 to rack up 28 points and Kyle Aulgur dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Aulgur is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games he's played. Mitchell Pfaff was another key player, putting up nine points.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points over those games. As for Sunnydale Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Coming up, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool will square off against Kansas City East Christian Academy at 10:15 a.m. on Friday. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season. As for Sunnydale Academy, they and Missouri Military Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
