Jackson has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Jackson Polar Bears and the Land O' Lakes Gators will round out the year against one another at TBD on Wednesday at. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Jackson is ranked 387th in Ohio, while Land O' Lakes is ranked 380th in Florida).
Jackson pushed their score all the way to 63 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of GlenOak by a score of 66-63.
Meanwhile, Land O' Lakes came up short against Central on Monday and fell 57-46.
Despite the loss, Land O' Lakes got a solid performance out of Jordan Massie, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Massie hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Noah Mathan, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Jackson's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for Land O' Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
