Lone Peak came out on top against Mountain View on Monday thanks in part to Clara Gourley's efforts. Gourley did her part (and then some), not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched for the 'W'. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Gourley and Lone Peak will square off against American Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time these two faced off, Gourley and Co. were forced to settle for an 11-2 loss.
