The Monterey Wolves will head out on the road to take on the Delta Charter Storm at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Monterey beat St. Joseph's - Plaucheville 13-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delta Charter). They were the clear victors by a 24-1 margin over Ferriday on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Cole Butler, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah White, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Delta Charter now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Monterey, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Monterey suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Delta Charter in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
