 Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Muir, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-10.
 Glendale will take on Hoover at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. Glendale is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season. As for Muir, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  an  11-1  defeat vs. Arcadia on the 20th.
