Softball Recap: School Without Walls Wins High-Profile Contest Against Eastern

School Without Walls faced Eastern in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Penguins put the hurt on the Ramblers with a sharp 19-11 victory. The Penguins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Harper Barlow, who fired off three home runs and six RBI while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted three runs, the most she's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Pfaffenroth, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four stolen bases, and two runs.

School Without Walls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .818. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in six consecutive games.

School Without Walls' win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Eastern, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
