Football Recap: Waukon Comes Up Short at Home Against Decorah-North Winneshiek

Waukon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 42-16 to the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings on Friday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Coming up, Waukon will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Oelwein at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, they will welcome Crestwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
