It was a good run, but the Kenosha Tremper Trojans unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 53-45 to Franklin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kenosha Tremper of the 56-46 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Franklin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Meaux, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Meaux has scored all season. Lauren Capstran was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Kenosha Tremper's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7. As for Franklin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenosha Tremper will play host again and welcome the Panthers, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Racine Park will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Trojans are ranked 123rd). As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against the Knights at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
