Stockton Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sam Weaver, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Chamblee, who scored 20 points.
Stockton Christian pushed their record up to 14-5 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Aspire Langston Hughes Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockton Christian will take on the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
