While Woodinville's win against Kamiak wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Knights 6-5 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Eli Jones and Alex Wenzel did most of the damage at the plate: Jones scored a run while going 1-for-4, while Wenzel went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits Wenzel has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Connor Hennessy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Woodinville pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Kamiak, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Woodinville will face off against Eastlake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kamiak, they will square off against Glacier Peak at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
