Astronaut is 8-2 against Cocoa since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The War Eagles will square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Astronaut is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Atlantic get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the War Eagles.

Paige Reynolds made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Riley Miller and Raleigh Edwards did most of the damage at the plate: Miller went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Edwards went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Miller has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Elka Koziana, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Astronaut was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Cocoa made sure to put some runs up on the board against Titusville on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Terriers 11-1. The Tigers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 24th (when they won 17-7).
Astronaut's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Cocoa, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
Astronaut got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Cocoa by a conclusive 19-0 score. Will the War Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
