Brandon's contest on Friday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against the Pearl Pirates as the Brandon Bulldogs made off with a 6-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matches by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Pearl from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

The victory made it two in a row for Brandon and bumps their season record up to 8-3-2. As for Pearl, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brandon and Oak Grove will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pearl, they will head out to challenge Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearl is facing Meridian at the right time seeing as Meridian is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
