Volleyball Recap: Homer Gets the Win

Homer won the last time they faced Bloomfield and things went their way on Monday too. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bees.

Taiah Bird paced Homer's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bird got some help from Madi Roeber and her 37 assists. Bird was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Homer's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Bloomfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Homer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Creighton on the 23rd. As for Bloomfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Niobrara/Verdigre on the 25th.
