Jordan Williams Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Ord's Jordan Williams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Williams rushed for 177 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 130 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
This season, Williams has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 114.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to nine.

BENES Came Up Big in Boone Central's 28-21 Victory
Boone Central picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to BROGAN BENES. BENES was dynamite, rushing for 231 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 32 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
On the season, BENES has thrown 1 touchdown (and no picks) while averaging 14.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to ten.

Gage Sack Delivers Best Effort of Season
St. Paul was led to victory by Gage Sack, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sack rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 75 receiving yards and a touchdown. St. Paul moved to 1-7 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak. Sack and St. Paul will welcome Grand Island Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tyion Francis Has Career-Day on Friday
Cross County came up short on Friday despite Tyion Francis delivering his best game to date. Francis rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Cross County dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Francis and Cross County will face off against Centura at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Centura Gets a Boost from Grabowski in 27-8 Loss
Trevin Grabowski posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown.
Centura is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. Grabowski's next game is against Cross County on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
