Puckett had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Richland on Monday. The Wolves blew past the Rangers 12-1. Considering the Wolves have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lila Murphy spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Brooke Shivers and Meredith Shivers did most of the damage at the plate: Brooke scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Meredith scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Meredith has posted since back in March. Aubrey Pardue was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Puckett's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Richland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

As of now, neither Puckett nor the Rangers have any future games scheduled.
