The Stoughton Vikings will venture away from home to  face off against the Baraboo Thunderbirds  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Stoughton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Stoughton can't be too worried about heading out to take on Baraboo: they just beat Sauk Prairie at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Vikings walked away with  a   7-4  victory over the Eagles  on Monday.
 Alex Reuter looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  hit and  allowed only  one  earned run over four innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Stoughton's success: when he allows at  most one  earned run the team is 3-1 (and 6-12 when he doesn't).

 On the hitting side,  Logan Hedstrom was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with five  RBI and one  stolen base. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Baraboo). They blew past Belleville 14-3 on Saturday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Thunderbirds as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
 Stoughton's record now sits at 9-13. As for Baraboo, they picked up their first road  victory, bumping their record up to 5-14-1.
 Stoughton couldn't quite finish off Baraboo in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024 and fell  4-2. Can the Vikings avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
