The Shoals Christian Flame won against the Winfield Pirates on Thursday with 46 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Shoals Christian managed a 46-41 win over Winfield. Winning may never get old, but Shoals Christian sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Sarah Davis (2025) continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. The game was her ninth in a row with at least ten points.
Shoals Christian pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Winfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shoals Christian will challenge Sheffield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Marion County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
