Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Hillcrest Academy

Hillcrest Academy came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lone Tree Lions 69-47. The Ravens have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Hillcrest Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Lone Tree, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Hillcrest Academy Ravens face off against the Keota Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lone Tree, they will be playing at home against Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lone Tree is facing Highland at the right time seeing as Highland is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
