Despite the loss, Patel got a solid performance out of SIMARKAE MCLEAN, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 61.9% of Patel's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Zephyrhills Christian Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.0 points per game. As for Patel, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
Zephyrhills Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 47-20 loss at the hands of Patel in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Zephyrhills Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
