The Klahowya Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Stadium Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Klahowya took a loss when they played away from home back in March, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Capital a 24-0 shutout. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.
Brooklyn Hart made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Hart was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Aubrey Scholl was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Shyanne Kilmer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Klahowya always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Capital only posted an OBP of .062.
Meanwhile, Stadium had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lancers as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.
Josie Pendergrass spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ella Enciso was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of London Kim, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
Klahowya's record now sits at 4-2. As for Stadium, their record is now 6-3.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Klahowya has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. However, it's not like Stadium struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Klahowya suffered a grim 17-4 defeat to Stadium in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
