The Dawson Bulldogs's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past Wortham 54-15 at home. That 39 point margin sets a new team best for Dawson this season.
Leading Dawson to victory were Joselynn Wilson and Callie Marberry. Wilson scored 12 points along with four steals, while Marberry almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Marberry has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Josie Oakes, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Dawson's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Wortham, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
Dawson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wortham also has no future games currently scheduled.
