Softball Recap: South Fayette Wins Going Away Against Chartiers Valley

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times South Fayette and Chartiers Valley have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Lions put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 9-3 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

South Fayette's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Chartiers Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Chartiers Valley will square off against Montour at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Fayette will be paying especially close attention to the Colts' matchup: after the Colts face off against the Spartans, they'll take on South Fayette again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
