The Stephenville FAITH Knights's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 43-42 photo finish over Johnson County Sports Association. This was payback for Stephenville FAITH, who suffered a 51-50 loss the last time these two teams met.
Johnson County Sports Association's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gage Bradley, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocks. Bradley hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for five straight games. Ethan Green was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Stephenville FAITH's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Johnson County Sports Association, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
Stephenville FAITH's road trip will continue as they head out to face the at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Texas Wind will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. Johnson County Sports Association does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
