The Grafton Gators had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Shepherd Hill Regional 42-12 at home. The result was nothing new for Grafton, who have now won four matches by 30 points or more so far this season.
Finn Gilmore had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Grafton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.
Grafton will be playing in front of their home fans against South at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (South is ranked 70th, while Grafton is ranked 45th). Shepherd Hill Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
