 On the hitting side,  Hayden Fleury was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Davin Williams, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, East Burke beat West Lincoln 6-3  on Monday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for East Burke.
  Barger Shook was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Shook was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rhett Houston, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Maiden has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. As for East Burke,  the  victory  got them back to even at 4-4.
 Maiden suffered a grim  10-0 defeat to East Burke  when the teams last played  on March 5th.
