CLINTON, Mich. -
Clinton (Mich.) extended its winning streak to 11 games with a 39-14 victory over
Grass Lake (Mich.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
TJ Baker in the first quarter, the Redskins were up 13-0 at the half.
Clinton expanded its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Noah Poore.
The Warriors came in allowing just 10.5 points per game this season. Grass Lake had a hard time against Clinton's offense, who entered the game scoring 46.1 points per game. Clinton came into the game allowing 12.3 points per game. Grass Lake's 14 points were well below its season average of 35.0 per game.
The loss comes after Grass Lake defeated Manchester 31-10 last week.
