Eastern View has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Chancellor Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Eastern View is ranked 192nd, while Chancellor is ranked 205th).
After soaring to a 35-point win in their last game, Eastern View came back down to earth last Friday. They fell just short of Courtland by a score of 50-48. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Eastern View has scored all season.
Chancellor posted their biggest victory since December 12, 2023 on Monday. Everything went their way against Culpeper County as Chancellor made off with a 68-45 victory.
Chancellor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Larell Edwards out in front who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Edwards hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Dodson, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Eastern View's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Chancellor, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Eastern View and Chancellor were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but Eastern View came up empty-handed after a 59-58 loss.
