The Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Newton HomeSchool by a score of 42-34.
Ella Renninger and Rachel Graham certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Renninger scored 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Graham scored 13 points. Renninger hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games.
Fellowship Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Newton HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Fellowship Baptist Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rolla at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Newton HomeSchool will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Christian Family Educators at 9:45 p.m. on January 26th.
