Faith Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Haven Brannen, who scored 19 points. That was a full 39.6% of Faith Christian Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was David Grubb, who scored 12 points.
Faith Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Gatewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.
Faith Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gatewood will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Westminster Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups.
