Ryan Remigio Jr produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Del Norte to the win on Friday. Remigio Jr rushed for 229 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Mt. Carmel's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3. Enriquez and Mt. Carmel will face off against Fallbrook at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Riley Valecruz Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Mt. Carmel had to settle for second even though Riley Valecruz put up the best numbers he has all season. Valecruz picked up 142 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Valecruz might have his next game, a road matchup with Fallbrook, circled on his calendar. When Valecruz last faced the Warriors back in October of 2023, he picked up 162 receiving yards and a touchdown.
