The Sharpstown Apollos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Fort Bend Willowridge 57-29. Sharpstown has not had much luck with Fort Bend Willowridge recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Fort Bend Willowridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaden Davis out in front who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Fort Bend Willowridge's points. Henry Eze was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Sharpstown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sharpstown will take on Furr at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Bend Willowridge will be home for the holidays to greet El Campo at 5:00 p.m. on December 15th.
