CULLEN MCCARTHY put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because St. Frederick is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-12 otherwise.
