The Frederick Baptist Academy Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Granite Baptist School. Frederick Baptist Academy has struggled against Granite Baptist School recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Strine, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Ben Hardt was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Frederick Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Granite Baptist School, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frederick Baptist Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Independent Baptist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Independent Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Monday. As for Granite Baptist School, they will head out on the road to square off against Calvary Baptist at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
