The Tecumseh Braves will head out on the road to face off against the Tell City Marksmen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tecumseh will be strutting in after a victory while Tell City will be coming in after a defeat.
Tecumseh waltzed into Thursday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Perry Central by a score of 54-43. Given Tecumseh's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Perry Central is ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jenna Donohoo, who scored 17 points. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Natalie Feather was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Tell City had to suffer through a rough 60-13 loss at the hands of Washington. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tell City has scored all season.
Tecumseh is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Tell City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
Tecumseh took their victory against Tell City in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 59-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tecumseh since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
