Northside won the last time they faced Sipsey Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rams walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bears.

Northside walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-28, 25-15, 25-16.

Haley Brooke Lyons paced Northside's offense, picking up 17 kills. Lyons got some help from Aiden Sharbutt and her 48 assists. Sharbutt also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Claire Jones, racking up three apiece.

Northside's record now sits at 18-2. As for Sipsey Valley, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-8.

Northside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Addison on the 20th. As for Sipsey Valley, they will square off against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
