Football Recap: Northwood Piles Up the Points Against Woodbridge

There's no place like home for Northwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Woodbridge Warriors 38-7. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-0.

A big part of Northwood's win came down to the chemistry between Dylan D'Epifanio and his top target Isaac Kwon. D'Epifanio threw for 315 yards and three TDs while picking up 15.0 yards per attempt while Kwon picked up 170 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Kwon was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards.

The victory got Northwood back to even at 2-2. As for Woodbridge, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwood will host Portola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Woodbridge, they will be playing at home against Beckman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
