Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Park Gets the Win

The Evergreen Park Mustangs were able to grind out a solid victory over the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Evergreen Park took both sets by at least 19 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-4.

Madison Majka had an outrageously good game as she had eight aces and three digs. Another player making a difference was Tess Lee, who had four aces.

They weren't the only good server: Evergreen Park was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Evergreen Park's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Noble Street College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Evergreen Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Fenwick on the 3rd. As for Noble Street College Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Latin on the 3rd.
