Eagle Ridge Academy secured a 41-36 W over Aurora Central on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eagle Ridge Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Eagle Ridge Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carole Tamburino led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Madi DiLorenzo was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Eagle Ridge Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Aurora Central, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
