Despite the loss, Lakeside still got an impressive performance from Amelia Rogers, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The game was Rogers' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Molly Reeves, who scored 8 points.
Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bryant, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Lakeside will be playing at home against Magnolia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Magnolia's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Bryant, they will head out on the road to face off against Little Rock Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
