Sadly, the Man Hillbillies are still looking for their first win of the season after 14 matches. They suffered a rough 67-46 loss at the hands of Meadow Bridge on Friday. Man was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.
Kierston Rozell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Meadow Bridge, scoring 26 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Charity Reichard, who scored ten points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Man dropped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Meadow Bridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.
Man won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against WestSide at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th. WestSide will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Man surely won't give up without a fight. As for Meadow Bridge, they will head out on the road to take on Sherman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in West Virginia (Sherman is ranked 112th, while Meadow Bridge is ranked 89th).
