It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Central Catholic Rams had no problem doing just that on Friday. They secured a 12-7 W over West Linn. Central Catholic's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Cru Newman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown.
Central Catholic pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.5 points. As for West Linn, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-1.
Central Catholic will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Tualatin. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Tualatin is ranked third, while Central Catholic is ranked first). West Linn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
