Northside strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men Knights with a sharp 17-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-2 last Monday.

The team relied heavily on Jesus Delosreyes, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Sebastian Martinez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with five RBI and two doubles.

Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .553 or higher in 11 consecutive contests.

Northside pushed their record up to 15-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3.
