Basketball Recap: Oak Mountain Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Oak Mountain Academy entered their tilt with Flint River Academy on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 61-38 margin over the Wildcats. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oak Mountain Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Patrick Marlow, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 18 points. That's the most points Marlow has posted since back in November of 2025. Ole Seehars was another key player, putting up nine points along with eight assists and six rebounds.

Flint River Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cole Riner, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 boards, and Mason Jones, who scored 16 points and eight rebounds. With that strong performance, Riner is now averaging an impressive 8.4 boards per game.

Oak Mountain Academy's record now sits at 17-4. As for Flint River Academy, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.
