After only six points in their last contest, Albany made sure to put some points up on the board against Miles on Friday. The Lions blew past the Bulldogs, posting a 48-0 victory. Considering the Lions' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Clay Chapman had a dynamite game, throwing for 204 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 88 yards. Those 88 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Calhan Fairchild also helped with two TDs in total.

Albany didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Woods Peterson and Jaxson Street.

Albany's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Miles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
