Chiles was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Leesburg got a massive performance out of Brianna Tozer, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs Tozer has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Addison Hunter, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Leesburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Real Life Christian Academy only managed three hits.
With the victory, Leesburg broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-8. As for Real Life Christian Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-4.
Leesburg wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lecanto on the 28th. Real Life Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
