 In other batting news,  McLaine Hudson was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs and a  stolen base while going 3-for-3.
 Male's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 7-1. As for South Warren, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with that  win, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Male by a score of  9-1 later that day.
