The Eisenhower Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Lawton Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while Lawton is ranked 67th).
Eisenhower had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 62-57 win over Noble on Saturday. Eisenhower's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Lawton can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They escaped with a win against Edmond Santa Fe by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42.
Eisenhower's victory ended a 13-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12. As for Lawton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6.
Eisenhower took a serious blow against Lawton in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 95-47. Can Eisenhower avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
