If Hillcrest Lutheran Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ada-Borup, they should've done a better job of containing Anders Tinjum. It took a bit of extra time, but the Cougars secured an 82-76 win against the Comets in overtime on Friday thanks in part to Tinjum: he went 14-for-23 to rack up 38 points and three steals. The game was Tinjum's fifth in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Chisholm, who posted 13 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Ada-Borup and bumps their season record up to 2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.5 points over those games. As for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Ada-Borup and Hillsboro/Central Valley will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 13, 2026 without much rest, having both just played.
